Detailed itinerary

DAY 1, : PICK UP FROM HOTEL AND TRANSFER MABAMBA SWAMP AND PROCEED TO JINJA

Today you will be picked up at your hotel in Entebbe at 03:40pm to transfer boat cruise to mabamba swamp which is located 45 minutes boat cruise from Entebbe for amazing birding and shoebill experience. Mabamba Swamps west of Entebbe is one of the best and most convenient places to see the elusive Shoebill. After a few minutes in a small canoe the papyrus reeds opens up into a flat grassy wetlands where a number of Shoebill can regularly be seen with luck and also see over 260 species located in the swamp like shoebill stork, papyrus gonelk, purpe swapen, African pied kingfisher, malachite kingfisher, little egrets, yellow billed stork, purple heron, African fish eagle, martial eagle among others. You will later transfer to jinja for overnight

DAY 2, WATER RAFTING AND BOATCRUISE SOURCE OF NILE

After having breakfast in the morning, we drove 3 minutes to the rafting point office for rafting knowledge education. Then we went to the rafting starting point for today’s rafting. The whole process took place between about 9 a.m. and 1:30 noon, and then returned to the rafting point. Change clothes in the office, enjoy the view of the Nile River and have a meal in the rafting point office. After the meal, we went to the Nile Source Viewing Point near Jinja Town and took a boat to explore the source of the Nile River (fishing boat type). After the project, we headed to Kampala, the capital of Uganda.

Note: The sun is very strong, so it is recommended to apply some sunscreen and follow the instructions of the staff.

DAY 3,  TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Have breakfast and transfer to kibale national park through verdant homesteads and tea estates  and you will by lunch time at your booked  hotel in kibale national park check in have lunch and take rest of the day relaxing at the lodge

DAY 4:  CHIMPANZEE TRACKING

You will begin with your breakfast very early so that you are ready to be transferred to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking briefing by 6;00. After the briefing, you will be led by a park ranger or a guide to head into the forest for an opportunity to track out the chimpanzees when they are still in their habitats. The purpose of tracking these chimpanzees as early as possible is for you to find them when they are just waking up or still sleeping so that you are able to see as many as possible. Thou chimpanzees are the most sought-after primates, visitors should also look out for other primates such as the black and white colobus, red tailed colobus and the red cheeked mangabey. After this amazing experience with these unique creatures, you will return to your lodge for lunch and rest of the day relaxation.

 DAY 5: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast in the morning, head to Elizabeth National Park for for evening game drive along the kasenyi plains, you will reach your lodge by lunch time check in and have relaxed lunch later transfer for evening game drive were you will be rewarded number of wildlife species, queen Elizabeth national park is home to over 600 bird species and 95 mammal species

DINER AND OVERNIGHT AT BUFFALO SAFARI LODGE

DAY 6,  MORNING GAME DRIVE AND TRABSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR TO LOOK FOR TREE CLIMBING LIONS

Early morning, we will be transferred to the Kasenyi plains for game drives, the savannah plains of this region are home to many animal species and through the well-distributed game routes in the park expect to see waterbucks, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and many bird types to mention few, it takes 2-3 hours on open safari cars or game viewers for you to have the chance to view animal species and take pictures as well, later you will proceed to ishasha to look for tree climbing, reaching your lodge by lunch time check in and for lunch and later go for evening game drive looking for rare tree climbing lions

DAY7. TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

On this day we will have an early morning breakfast after which transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park through the animal corridor of Ishasha, arriving in time for a hot luncha and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing preparing next days hike to meet with the endangered mountain gorillas, bwindi is home to half of the remaining mountain gorilla population in the world

DAY 8,  GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE

Morning breakfast after which we will be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking, a briefing from the Uganda wildlife game rangers in groups of 8 you will be allocated a gorilla family to track, it takes 2 -8 hours to do the activity or even the entire day, the hike through the forest is tough, upon meeting the gentle brown-eyed species this whole feeling melts away as you engage and interact with them, an hour is allowed while with the primates, returning to meet your guide who will transfer you to the accommodation booked for your dinner and staying overnight at

DAY 9,  TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI AND LATER PROCEED TO RWANDA

In Rwanda Volcanoes National Park, colorful birds chirp gracefully, and unique bison and wild elephants leave scattered footprints, but the most attractive thing is the golden monkey that only exists in Rwanda. Rwanda’s golden monkeys are similar in size and appearance to Asia’s blue monkeys, but have a golden patch on their upper arms and back. Rwanda’s golden monkeys are listed as endangered by the IUCN due to war that has destroyed their habitat.

DAY 10, GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING AND TRANSFER TO KIGALI

In the morning, we will explore the golden monkeys, then visit the local tribes, and then on the way to Kigali, we will experience the coffee estate, and finally arrive in Kigali.

DAY 11, 15^TH FEB 2024: KIGALI CITY TOUR AND FLY KIGALI

In the morning, city tour of Kigali, then transfer to airport in the afternoon. Partial pickup in Burundi, airport pick-up, city tour, transfer to hotel for rest

DAY 12: 1 EXPLORE BUJUMBURA AND FLY BACK TO KIGALI

In the morning, take a 1-hour cruise in Bujumbura, followed by city sightseeing, and transfer to the airport in the afternoon. Pick up at Kigali section, city tour, transfer to hotel for rest.

 DAY 13 CITY TOUR AND DROP OFF AIRPORT
